2017

Back

The club racer made some strong runs up the hill in Stacey’s capable hands on the weekend of the 14th and 15th of October 2017. Stacey posted her best result on Saturday as 46.6 seconds which was the fastest time recorded by anyone.

This time was faster than the previous year by a couple of seconds but still shy of the outright record.

Sundays runs up the hill were even better with a best time of 43.9 secs which was the fastest time up the hill for this weekend and this means Stacey is now queen of the mountain for 2017.

Next year we hope she’ll take the outright record.

Well done Stacey and well done Nick McGinn and John Chambers who prepped the bike for the meeting.

Trophies in hand to prove Stacey is King (Queen) of the Mountain for 2017.

Unfortunately the bike was unable to make a third run on Sunday because the radial bearing at the back of the clutch failed but thanks to Nick McGinn that has now been fixed and the bike is ready to go for the Australian titles at Wakefield on the 9 – 12 of November where Stacey has already entered.

There is a small video of one of Stacey’s starts on the club’s website at:-http://www.xs650.org.au/Videos/2017%20mount%20tarrengower%20video.mp4
