Photo of my D model attached. Bought from Yamaha Retro March 2009 with 11,000 miles. When it arrived it looked pretty much as it is now but has had some improvements and lots of TLC, as follows, New rings, fork seals, most of the common clutch upgrades(but it still drags), 25mm holesaw down the mufflers & re-chrome, touch up only to paint, rebuild rear wheel with SS spokes, service starter motor, o-ring chain & smaller rear sprocket. Done 23,000 miles now and goes and sounds great in standard tune. I like buying cheap parts from "mikes" Still a nearly original bike so I am resisting any modifications. Got other bikes for modifying.
